Thanksgiving in the Schoolhouse

Hi mamas,

Getting The Little Red Schoolhouse ready for a fun week of “Friendsgiving Feasts”!

We are SO grateful, thankful, and blessed to have such a special community of learners and families. We love you all!!

Thanksgiving Feast

Our little pilgrims had a ball learning all about the first Thanksgiving, Native American Indian culture, and enjoying a Friendship Feast of their own!

DIY Thanksgiving

We are counting down the days to Thanksgiving, and have a fun DIY you can do at home with your littles to get the kids’ table ready!

These mini Mayflower ships are easy to make and they’re ready to set sail to your kid’s table to hold your “Mayflower Munch”. Your kids will love snacking on this while waiting for their feast.

Join us in making this adorable “Thankful Turkey” centerpiece for the kids table at Thanksgiving. Watch the full how-to video on our YouTube channel.

This super easy DIY craft can be made at home with your kids to celebrate gratitude year after year, and treasure your family’s memories of thankfulness!

Thanksgiving Lessons

Listen in to hear some of our students share what they are most thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Our learners enjoyed dressing up as Native American Indians and Pilgrims as we acted out sailing to America on the Mayflower! They learned all about the history of The First Thanksgiving.

That’s a wrap on a super fun week of Friendship Feasts!

I love all the friendships forged here in The Little Red Schoolhouse, and I’m so proud to come alongside all of you on your child’s educational journey!
