I had so much fun in our Little Red Schoolhouse celebrating National PI Day with my 1st and 2nd grade writing students and my own kiddos. The students learned that PI 3.14... is used by mathematicians to find the circumference and area of a circle. Then after our writing, we ate apple pie! 📝🥧🍕
