💕 We celebrated LOVE all throughout the month of February here in The Little Red Schoolhouse! 💕

We had SO much fun at our latest Mother/Child Valentine’s Workshop celebrating love & friendship with a lively read-aloud, book discussion, and lesson of “The Day It Rained Hearts” by Felicia Bond. ☔️💕

Our students had so much fun making text-self connections, dressing up like the main character in our book, and writing Valentine’s cards to their friends and family. It’s always an honor to come alongside so many wonderful families on their journey of homeschooling their littles!

In our “The Day it Rained Hearts” lesson, students became “text detectives” as they brainstormed character traits, wrote Valentine’s to the characters in our story, and participated in a story retell. They also enjoyed crafting with their mamas! 💌✂️
